Navigate to 'Inventory' > 'Maintenance' > 'Unit of Measure'
At the top-left of the screen click the 'New Unit of Measure' button.
On the 'Details' pane, select a 'Company' and type in the 'Code' and 'Name' you wish to use for UOM (Unit Of Measure).
On the 'Unit Of Measure' pane, select a 'UOM Category' and enter the 'Base Control Unit Ratio'.
The 'Base Control Unit Ratio' is the index used to calculate UOM conversions.
To add a 'UOM Category', navigate to 'Inventory' > 'Unit Of Measure Categories'.
Click the 'New Unit Of Measure Category' button.
On the 'Unit Of Measure Category' pane, select a 'Company' and type in the 'Name' and 'Base Control Unit'.
Click save to add the 'Unit Of Measure Category' to the system.
