On occasion there will be an invoice total difference by a cent or two in Evolution and Paradigm.
Reason
The underlying SQL database saves numbers with a random amount of decimal places. This is beyond the control of the programmers in Evolution and Paradigm. SQL does not necessarily save the number in exactly the same format in the Paradigm and Evolution databases causing a difference from time to time.
Recommended Solution
A customer journal entry for the variance needs to be processed and then matched in the customer allocations screen directly in Evolution. The rounding should be written off to the cost of sales account.
