Note: This article focuses on the simplest common use case for processing an unprocessed Return To Supplier (RTS).
To process an unprocessed RTS, navigate to the relevant RTS. Open it by double-clicking it in the list, or by selecting it and pressing Enter.
Note: Several parts of the system are affected when processing an RTS. First, validation checks are executed to ensure that the RTS can be processed. If validation passes, the system performs the following actions:
- Stock levels are updated.
- Cost prices are recalculated.
- The RTS is posted to the accounting system.
- The transaction is locked.
- The status is set to Posted to Financial, and it cannot be edited.

Opening the RTS displays its General tab.

You can update some of the fields if required. Once done, click the RTS Details tab to continue.

A popup appears, asking you to confirm the action.

Click OK to close the popup and return to the RTS. With the RTS processed, it can now be printed and emailed.
