In order for a task to be marked as completed then all necessary 'Completed' checkboxes need to set to true, i.e. Task Completed, Approval Completed, Authorisation Completed.

TIP: If somebody is allocated to any one of the Assigned To fields, then the corresponding Completed checkbox needs to be set to true, in order to mark the entire line as completed. If there is nobody allocated to any of following Assigned To fields, then setting the Task Completed checkbox to true will mark the entire line as completed.

1. How to mark a task line as completed

  • Task Completion

If someone has been allocated as the Assigned To or Reassigned To person, they need to change the Task Status to 'Completed'. The Task Completed checkbox will be set automatically to true.

  • Approval Completion

If someone has been allocated as the Approval Assigned To person, they need to change the Approval Result to either 'Approved' or 'Declined'. The Approval Completed checkbox will be set automatically to true.

See Task Approvals for more information.

  • Authorisation Completion

If someone has been allocated as the Authorisation Assigned To person, they need to change the Authorisation Result to either 'Authorised' or 'Declined'. The Authorisation Completed checkbox will be set automatically to true.

See Task Authorisations for more information.

2. Tasks line appearance based on completion status

  • Incompleted Task

Have no appearance rules applied to them.

  • Completed Task

When a task has been marked as completed, the font will have a strikethrough format.
