Setup Task Notifications

This functionality allows the Paradigm system to send users an Email notification when a task is assigned to them for improved response time towards Tasks and Approval Tasks.

Navigate to 'Administration' > 'User Manager' > 'User Settings'

Open the user you wish to receive Task Notifications.

Under the 'General' tab, on the 'Email Settings' pane, tick the 'Send Task Notifications' checkbox.

This setting tells the Paradigm system that this user would like to receive Email notifications. The Email notifications will be mailed to the 'Reply To Email Address'.

An Email Account must be setup for Task Notifications. This account acts as the sender and the Paradigm system will utilize this account to send all Task Notifications.

Navigate to 'Email' > 'Maintenance' > 'Email Accounts'

Setup an Email account for Task Notifications, open it and ensure that the 'Task Notification Account' checkbox is checked.

When a task is then created and assigned to a user, the Paradigm system then checks if that user requires a notification as per the settings above. If so, the system will then send either an Approval Email or a Task Email depending on the Task Type.
